Telecoms Build Milestone Achieved on SRAN Modernisation

Spectrum Telecom Installations Ltd is proud to announce that it has completed a significant milestone by delivering its 600th RAN build site for Huawei as part of the Eir Mobile SRAN Modernisation Project.

This project is ongoing and consists of 1900+ existing sites which are be refreshed (equipment vendor swapped and optimised) and 650+ infill sites (new sites) to be built.

Spectrum Telecom Installations Limited is acting in the role of Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) for the construction phase of the project as well as fulfilling the role of one of the designated site designers. Whilst in pursuit of our clients objectives, Spectrum Telecom Installations Limited has and will continue to be fully compliant with The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.

Specifically, the scope of works includes the following tasks:

  1. Detailed site design as a designated PSDP Design partner
  2. Final Engineering Package production including site survey reports, detailed engineering drawings and structural analysis report/s
  3. Site access arrangements and coordination with the client site providers on behalf of the client and Eir
  4. RAN refresh of vendor equipment with network optimisation where possible
  5. Post construction handover documentation including As-Built documentation, RBS testing reports and a detailed photographic record of works completed.
